Original Pet Portrait Commissions

As an animal-lover, I truly enjoy the opportunity to create a custom, one-of-a-kind memory of your pet. I aim to capture the personality of your pet in a realistic manner.

Each portrait is hand-painted using artist-grade watercolors on acid-free, 300gsm, 100% cotton paper.

Pet portraits also make a great gift or memorial idea.

Photograph Advice:

Quality of image
The higher quality of the photo, the more realistic your portrait will be.
(not blurry & clear enough to see details of eyes/nose/fur)
Details of your pet’s eyes & nose really bring the portrait to life.

Lighting
Photos taken outdoors, without flash or app filters are preferred.
Take your pet outside & use your camera phone for great results.
(sunny & overcast days are perfect, with the sun behind you)

Close-Up
Don’t zoom in on your camera. Instead, walk up to your pet until his/her head & shoulders are in the frame. Also, don’t stand above your pet & point your camera down. Instead, get down on his or her eye level to get the most accurate proportions in the face.

Character
Choose a photo that captures how you see your pet.
